With a 20-year Canadian military background, Terry brings to the table a strong sense of work ethic, resourcefulness, reliability, integrity, leadership and an impactful ability to work as part of a team.
Terry’s love of food and his desire to elevate and improve the food industry, led him to the Canadian Health Food Association where he worked alongside the CEO to drive the industry forward through consumer awareness and government interaction. In 2010, Terry moved to dicentra Inc., a contract research organization and professional consulting firm that specializes in safety, quality and compliance for all product categories in the life sciences and food industries where he continues to help the business and it’s clients soar to new heights.
In 2016, dicentra Global Certifications was formed and became ISO 17065 certified through accreditation by the America National Standards Institute (ANSI) as a certification body for Safe Quality Foods (SQF). Since that time, Terry has moved from SQF Administrator to Director Global Certifications and has established dicentra Global Certifications as a presence within the industry.
Terry’s military background fits perfectly in the SQF system, where he is able to use his meticulous attention to details to work with both clients and auditors. He excels in customer relations, with his candor approach, and prides himself in always being available and answering the call when clients and coworkers need assistance. Terry truly believes in his customers’ business and, just as they do – wants them to grow and succeed.
