With a background in Biotechnology, Dejan is a safety and quality professional with years of extensive experience in diverse sectors of both the food and cannabis industries. 

 

His work in food industries includes Meat/poultry (Process and Slaughter), Fish Bakery, Fruit and Vegetable, Recipe meals, Dairy, Sugar, Soda Drink, Water (Sterilization and Bottling), Distribution, Pet Food and Food Packaging. 

 

Recently, with the inception of cannabis legalization, Dejan has used his background, experience and knowledge to build a reputation as a highly qualified consultant in this newly formed sector for growing and processing Cannabis. 

 

Experienced in implementing, managing and training in GFSI Standards (SQF, BRC, GFCP, FSSC 22000, IFS PacSecre, etc.), Regulatory Compliance (SFCA, FSEP, QMP, FSMA, Cannabis Act/Regulations, etc.) and other Third- Party certification standards. 

 

Dejan is a certified SQF, BRC, HACCP and GFCP Lead Auditor and GFCP Approved Trainer.
